Mr. Birtcher co-chairs the Executive Management, Strategic Planning, Audit and Investment Committees and oversees strategic expansion of Birtcher Anderson & Davis management platform. Mr. Birtcher has over 57 years of experience across a wide array of disciplines in commercial real estate including development, acquisitions, financing and asset and property management.

 

Over his career, he has purchased and developed more than $4 billion of commercial real estate through public and private offerings, including roughly 60 million square feet of commercial real estate globally. He has also developed more than 100 residential projects totaling 12,000 units. The Birtcher family real estate business was established in 1939 and has grown to be a recognized name in commercial real estate in Southern California. Mr. Birtcher joined the family-run business in 1961, and Mr. Birtcher has evolved into a community leader in the region. Mr. Birtcher has been responsible for managing and developing numerous Birtcher platforms with core emphasis on development, construction management, investment management, property management and financing. He spearheaded Birtcher’s international expansion by opening investment and development offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and Beijing.

 

Mr. Birtcher has served on the governing boards of many organizations, including the University of San Diego, Mission Regional Medical Center, Diocese of Orange Construction and Land Advisory, Orange County’s American Red Cross and the United Way. Mr. Birtcher has received numerous awards, including NAIOP Real Estate Man of the Year U.S. Developer of the Year, the Huntington Disease Society of America’s Distinguished Leadership Award, and the Bishop Tod D. Brown Award for Exemplary Business Integrity.

 

Mr. Birtcher is a former member and director of the American Business Conference, he is a Knight of St. Gregory, a Knight of Malta, a Knight of the Holy Sepulcher and a Steward of St. Peter Papal Foundation.
