Acquisition Criteria

Birtcher Anderson invests in high quality properties and loans in markets throughout the western United States, roughly defined by the triangular area bordered by Seattle, San Diego and Houston. Specifically targeted markets where we can capitalize on existing relationships derived from years of investment experience include:

  • Arizona – Phoenix
  • California – Southern California, Bay Area, Sacramento
  • Colorado – Denver/ Boulder, Colorado Springs
  • Nevada – Reno, Las Vegas
  • Oregon – Portland
  • Texas – Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio
  • Utah – Salt Lake City

Currently, our primary investment focus is currently focused on Class A and B multi-tenant industrial, flex and office buildings particularly in a “business park” configuration with a targeted minimum purchase price of $5 million. We also invest in corporate-owned facilities, failed or stalled construction projects, vacant or partially leased facilities and loans (performing and non-performing) secured by commercial real estate.
